House update

Jesse tagged me to put up the fourth picture in our fourth file...unfortunately, our new camera files everything by date and that particular day I only took three pictures. Go figure. So, hopefully to appease the masses, I am posting completely new pictures instead!

You can celebrate the good news with us ... we are finally at the texturing stage! Bobby and his Dad started on the first bedroom last night. Talk about a messy job. To do the texturing, Bobby's Dad wanted to mix in some really fine sand to the mud. Not a problem down here, everything is dry and sandy. So we just went down the road and got some from the wash. But after three hours of sifting and not even getting a full cup of the caliber he wanted, and having early arthritis set in, we decided to hit the sand dunes just outside town. Bobby showed me around the canyon where the local four-wheelers and bikers love to spend their days. We climbed a few sandy hills ourselves and got more than enough fine sand to do the job in just seconds. It was a fun trip and quite productive at the same time.
