He hasn't been a fan of it. So I decided to pull all the stops this morning. Warmed it up, and since it was homemade (our first attempts at canning) and kinda chunky put it through the food mill, twice, and even diluted it just a little bit to make it easier to swallow.
The result?
He gagged and spit everything back up.
Thank goodness for bibs.

After that birthday cookie, it's no wonder that he doesn't want to settle for applesauce! But don't worry; it's only been in the past decade that Scott has been enjoying applesauce. There is hope yet.
Warm, with cinnamon and a spoonful of vanilla yogurt. He can't say no to that! Actually, he probably can, but at least you'll enjoy eating what he refuses to, right? ;)
Willie never could handle home made baby food. He tolerated the super smooth stuff from a jar, and went straight to finger foods. Do you have a mesh feeder? Stick an apple slice in it, and watch him chow down. Most babies love applesauce, but every child is different.
