We did it! We bought paint. Lots, and lots, and lots of paint. So now our Thanksgiving will be composed of transforming our hideously purple room to a more endearing color (Pearl Essence - doesn't that sound nice? - was the final decision). And I'll get to indulge in a red wall in the kitchen. Can't wait to see how the house will change this weekend!
