Beware...

Apparently basketballs and the cupholder on lawn chairs can be frightening things.

This is the first time Jeremiah has shown any signs of nervousness/fright when looking at something. This Saturday, Jeremiah would poke his hand into the cupholder of a lawn chair and then Uncle Rusty would grab him from underneath through the mesh. He thought it was pretty funny at first. Poke, get grabbed, laugh. Repeat. It was working great.

But then he started poking it and nothing happened (no Uncle Rusty to grab him). He began to whimper. And then he just had to look at it and start crying! Scary things, cupholders.

Sunday during Elder's Quorum, Bobby reported the he got scared of a basketball. Jeremiah was laying on the floor and Brother Fairbanks would roll the ball to him (sidenote - why was there a basketball during Elder's Quorum anyway?). It was fun at first too, but then got scary. So Bobby put him on his lap and set the basketball on his other leg. Tears! Jeremiah didn't want the basketball anywhere near him.

So we are avoiding these two things this week. Basketballs and cupholders... who knew?

Aw, I made it on your list of bits of happiness! Unless you're reading someone else's zumba stories? Is there someone else...? ;) Love you!
